Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory-Caldwell
Tanya Janeanne Pack
June 25th, 1960 - May 19th, 2025
Tanya was known as Momma, Mama P, Mimi, Grandma, Sissy to all who knew and loved her. Tanya was born June 25, 1960, to Melvin Waldemer and Mary (Petersen) Waldemer in Red Oak, Iowa. Tanya passed away peacefully at home, unexpectedly. Tanya is preceded in death by her bonus daughter, Kristy Flores (2025), her mother Mary Waldemer (2015), her father, Melvin Waldemer (2000), brother Monte Waldemer (1993).
Tanya was all about her kids and grandkids. She raised two beautiful children, Ashlee and Eric. She loved get togethers with all of her family and friends. Her grandkids were her pride and joy, always ready to play a game or two of Uno. Tanya loved camping and girls’ night out and vacations with her friends and family. She loved being spoiled by Ashlee getting pedicures on a monthly basis. She loved going over to Deanna’s house to spend the night and get spoiled by Jim with whatever she wanted for dinner. She always brought over apple fritters and donuts. She was like a second mom to her niece, Tiffany, and adored her. She loved being outside and enjoyed the scenery for hours as long as it was warm, she was always cold. She never went anywhere without her slippers, popcorn and a diet coke. She loved her “cold” hot coffee. She was never a complainer and always willing to do whatever needed to be done. Tanya worked as a baker her whole life at several stores. The most recent being Ridley’s in Kuna and Middleton, where she was known to be reliable to a “T“ and a wonderful person to work with.
She will be loved and seriously missed by everyone who has ever had the privilege to know her.
She is survived by her son Eric and Jennifer Pack, daughter Ashlee and Jay Hutchison, brother Lee and Linda Waldemer, brother Mike and Kristine Waldemer, brother Scott Waldemer, sister Deanna and Jim Murphy, brother Jeff and Jeannie Waldemer, and her bonus children; Maria and William Scott and David Flores. 7 grandchildren Madelyn, Jaicee, Hailey, Allie, Bristol, Archer and Sterling and many nieces and nephews and many loving extended family members.
A Celebration of Life for Tanya will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapels and Crematory in Caldwell, Idaho. There will be a viewing on May 27th from 5pm to 7pm and the Celebration of Life will be May 28th at 10:30am. There will be a reception out in Murphy, Idaho following the ceremony at 4:30.
