Suzanne C. Gavin, 74, of Mickleton passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Predeceased by her parents, James and Charlotte VanHorn, she is survived by her daughter, Kelly Antczak and her husband Michael, her grandchildren Cole and Theresa, her brother James VanHorn and his wife Linda, and her sister Vicky Shortino and her husband Phil. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Sue was employed for over 45 years as a Legal Secretary at Turp, Coates, Essel and Driggers Law Firm in Hightstown, NJ before retirement. In addition to her work, Sue enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren who she adored, reading her favorite books, having lunch dates with her closest friends, going on day trips to the theater, and enjoying the beautiful life she had built surrounded by the friends and family who loved her so much.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sue’s life during her viewing on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 10:00am until 12 noon at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia or Nemours Children's Hospital.
