All-States Cremation - Centennial
Shawn Earley
1981 - 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn Earley. He was 43. Born September 4, 1981, in Southern California, he was the youngest son of Katherine Earley. With his older brother Nathaniel Earley, they would move from CA to CO in the mid-80s, where Shawn and Nathan grew up near close family members: his grandmother Cheri Williams: his grandfather Sidney Emanuel Nowick, who ran an esteemed therapy business, Empire Health: his aunts were Cheriene Nowick, Rebecca Witham, and Lenny Kostoff; uncle Martin Nowick; cousins Mark Kostoff, Joshua Witham, Kimberly Nowick, David Nowick, and Phil Nowick. His brother Nathan had two children: Logan Brashers and DeeDee Brashers, who not only spent a great deal of time with Shawn, but were babysat by him on numerous occasions.
He was beloved by all his family. He was very social, popular, and a friendly individual. His talents and hobbies were scattered among many traits. He loved sports and participating in team activities. He was an excellent skateboarder, but was even more passionate about snowboarding. He’d purchase annual mountain passes, and would visit Colorado slopes with friends and family regularly; especially Winter Park, Copper Mountain, and Vail. He was an avid pool player. Not your average player by any means; he could perform one-handed bankshots, mathematically plan where each ball would land, and call his shots like a tournament pro. Growing up in the 90’s, Hip Hop culture was very influential to him. A skilled lyricist, he would write and perform original rap songs in Denver beginning in middle school. He could freestyle at the drop of a hat, and only got better as he honed his craft. He was also a versatile graffiti artist, and filled countless sketchbooks, papers, and walls with unique designs. There is no doubt if you were fortunate enough to spend time with Shawn that it was filled with joy, humor, and an unconditional love he always tried to show everyone that crossed paths with him. This doesn’t go without saying that he faced many struggles and trials as an individual, all of which he survived like a true warrior. He especially did not want to burden people with these struggles; he would even say this, and went to even greater lengths to make sure you couldn’t notice anything off. He survived near death accidents, medical anomalies, and stories you’d have to see to believe, and yet showed up to the party with a smile on his face and a willingness to care about you as an individual every time. He was always a great conversationalist and would go out of his way to comfort you if you ever seemed down. He was the life of the party, and every moment we shared with him is a memory that will never be forgotten. He will be sorely missed, a true champion, friend, and family, and the family thank you for sharing any fond memories or words you may have regarding Shawn.Donations
