Michael Alan “Mike T.” Terry, 46, of Lexington passed away under hospice care at home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. A Lexington native, he was born to Stephen W. Terry and MaryAnn Capley Terry on May 8, 1979. Mike was a Catholic Christian.

Mike was a graduate of Lafayette High School (‘97). He was a member of the Lafayette Band (Marching, Symphonic, and Jazz). He was part of five state band titles and he marched in the Macy’s parade in New York during his time with the band.

After he attended UK, Mike built a successful career in construction. He was a supervisor for IMI Concrete and was part-owner of Emerge Contracting. Emerge built several container homes in downtown Lexington, which were projects on which Mike had a leadership role.

Mike enjoyed old cars.
