Mr. Melvin Merle Lowe, age 76, a resident of Auburndale, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale surrounded by family. Mr. Lowe was born January 8, 1949, in New Castle, Indiana to Mearl Wallace and Delores Jean (Hart) Lowe. He was an Auburndale resident since the 1970’s coming from Indiana and a retired Automobile Mechanic receiving his certification from St. Louis trade school for mechanic’s. He was a United States Marine Veteran serving during Vietnam. Melvin enjoyed fishing, woodworking, racing cars and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife – Sheila Lowe in 2001 and brother – Malcolm. Melvin is survived by his loving family, daughter – Melanie Lowe of Rock Hill, South Carolina; son – Mark (Sonja) Lowe of Auburndale, Florida; brother – Michael (Patti) Lowe of Marysville, Ohio; 5 grandchildren – Eryka (Nick), Eryn, Emma, Brad (Meghan) and Evan; 3 great grandchildren – Dexter, Sophia and McCoy. There are no services scheduled for Mr. Lowe at this time.
