Nolasco Malapitan Quiros
January 28th, 1950 - May 6th, 2025
Noli passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Noli was a man of quiet strength—kind, humble, genuine, and deeply selfless. He gave freely of his time and energy, never seeking recognition, but always making a difference in the lives of those around him. Whether through a simple act of kindness or a word of encouragement, he touched countless hearts with his compassion and sincerity. Noli worked as a cable assembler and molding machine shop operator at Thor Electronics, where he was known for his dedication, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. He took pride in his work and earned the respect of his colleagues for his quiet commitment and dependability. To his loved ones, Noli was more than just a companion—he was a steady presence, a source of comfort, and an example of grace. He had a way of making people feel safe—like no matter what the world brought, everything would be alright as long as he was there. He gave counsel not through grand speeches, but through the gentle wisdom of someone who truly listened and cared. His patience was boundless, his compassion sincere, and his presence reassuring. To his family, he was a protector and a guiding light. To his friends, he was the one they turned to in times of need. To all who knew him, he was a rare soul who led with kindness and lived with quiet dignity. His life was a gift, and his memory will remain a guiding light for those who carry his love in their hearts. We mourn his passing, but more importantly, we celebrate his life—a life that touched so many in quiet but profound ways. He may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts. Noli is survived by his loving wife, Genevieve A. Qurios, who stood by his side through life’s every season. He is also deeply mourned by his siblings: Elvie Q. Dorion, Teody M. Quiros, who remember him not only as a brother but as a source of strength, laughter, and unwavering support. His loved ones will strive to honor his memory by living life to the fullest. Family and friends are invited to attend viewing hours on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 1:00-5:00 PM at Healey Mortuary Chapel with a Rosary being led at 4:00 PM. His Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 10:00AM at Christ the King Church in Salinas. Nolasco's final resting place will be at Garden of Memories, 850 Abbott St, Salinas, CA 93901, United States, May 28, 2025.

We Entrusted Nolasco Malapitan Quiros's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
