Gordon M Kerlin Jr. 78, of The Villages, Florida passed away on 05/12/2025 in Leesburg.
Gordon was born in Trenton, New Jersey, to Gordon and Ruth Kerlin on 12/09/1946 He went to school at Hamilton High School-East. He later graduated from University of Maryland. He also completed a Master's at Peabody/Vanderbilt University. He married Mary Schofield in 1975 in Rothwell, England. Following his service in the Air Force, he worked as an analyst for the U.S Government for 36 years. He enjoyed travelling the world with his beloved wife Mary.
Gordon is preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Ruth Kerlin.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Mary. Also, his 3 nieces, Claire, Alison and Sarah and his nephew Jonathan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Friday 06/06/2025 at Hiers-Baxley 3975, Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, with Mal Patterson minister of Community United Methodist Church officiating. A committal service will take place at 13:30 Monday 06/09/2025 Florida National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley.
