Mr. Ines Rivera Diaz, age 94, a resident of Auburndale, Florida, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Diaz was born March 25, 1931, in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, to Urbano and Perfecta (Diaz) Rivera. He was an Auburndale resident of 3 years coming from Puerto Rico and a retired Owner/Operator of a Grocery Store in Puerto Rico and he also did farming. Ines was a member of the Charismatic Catholic Church in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He enjoyed playing dominos, dancing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters. Ines is survived by his loving family, wife of 72 years – Cecilia; son – Ricardo; daughter – Edna; 4 sisters – Julia, Anna, Aida & Olga; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 7pm Friday, May 30th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 5pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Puerto Rico.
