Norma Jean Campbell
December 14th, 1948 - May 14th, 2025
Norma Jean Adams Campbell, of Bluffton, SC, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, gained her angel wings on May 14th, 2025, at the age of 76. She fought a courageous 3 year battle with stage 4 breast cancer.
Born on December 14th, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio. Norma graduated from Fairborn Baker High School, class of 1966. After a brief period at WPAFB, she moved to Washington DC. As she worked for the Department of the Interior, she received her Masters Degree from American University.
She will be forever known for her warm smile and contagious laugh. Her memory will be forever held close by those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her father, Maurice C. Adams, mother Lila M. Adams - Gibson and brother Kenneth E. Adams, all of Huber Heights, Ohio.
Norma is survived by her loving husband Bill Campbell and daughter Shanon Janke Haight. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren Chelsea Janke and Owen Haight. She leaves behind her devoted brother, Maurice J. Adams (Barbara). Norma is also blessed with numerous nieces, nephews and friends whose lives she touched.
Interment will be at The National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, Va. 22172 on June 13th 2025 at 1:30PM.
