" PJ " Patricia Jane Smith Patricia Jane Smith was born at home on June 28, 1936 in Platner Colorado to Jake and Jesse Hohnstein. She had three siblings Betty Renfro,Robert Hohnstein (Jean), Donald Hohnstein (Joan). Patti married Albert F White In 1954. Which ended in 1971. They had 2 boys: RD - Richard David White Jeff-Scott Jeffrey White (Pam ) Grand children Amanda White Hichcock (Tim) Zacory White Kate White Many nieces and nephews. PJ married R. Larry Smith on December 22,1973 in Greeley Colorado And remained in a loving relationship for over 47 years PJ started with mountain bell telephone company While still in her teens. She use the old switch boards and stay there through many company name changes, Qwest,Now known as CenturyLink. She continued to work there through her retirement. PJ and Larry moved to North Carolina where they lived for 20+ years. PJ’s great talent was shown through music the Organ and keyboard but painting was her greatest joy. While in North Carolina she had a her own art exhibit and belong to the art league. PJ has sold and shared many of her works. In 2007 PJ and Larry moved back to Colorado to be closer to family in the Wyoming and Northern Colorado area. She was preceded in death by her mom Jessie, dad Jake, and brother Robert . On September 30, 2021 Patricia entered her final rest at home. Dear family and friends please join us on October 9, 2021 at 2 PM at their home. Where we will celebrate her life.
