The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, at St. Helen Catholic Church for Myra Sue Musial of Junction City, who died May 25. She was 92 years old. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. preceding the funeral Mass.
She was born May 24, 1933, in Union City, Indiana to Samuel Robert and Vava Bernice Gunckel. She married Stanley John Musial on February 23, 1952, in Fresno, California. He preceded her in death.
She graduated from high school in Sacramento, California. She was a homemaker and a typist working with classified information. She was a devout Catholic who loved her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Gonzalez of Junction City and Amy Frigaard of St. Helens; two sons, Steven Musial of San Antonio, Texas and David Musial of Tualatin; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Corvallis. Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
Remembrances to St. Helen Catholic Church in Junction City, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Hospice in Eugene or The American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
