Janine Renee Pacheco-Reed

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janine Renee Pacheco-Reed of Parker, Colorado. Janine was born on August 18, 1970, in Leadville, Colorado, and entered Heaven—surrounded by her family—on March 24, 2025. She was the cherished wife of Joseph Reed; a devoted and loving mother to Haley, Ashley, and Ally Reed; and the treasured daughter of Herbert and Esther Pacheco. She is also survived by her sister, Heather Hughes, along with her husband, Jeremy, and their children, Kylee and Brayden Hughes.

Janine grew up in Gypsum, Colorado, and was a 1988 graduate of Eagle Valley High School. In 1992, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado, followed by a master’s degree in social work from Denver University in 1995. She was a passionate advocate for mental health, dedicating her career to helping others with unwavering compassion.

Janine’s true love was her family and friends. Her most treasured moments were spent at home, surrounded by her husband and three daughters, and cuddling with her beloved pups. She also had a deep love for travel and adventure—always eager to explore new places—most recently visiting Italy last summer. Janine’s radiant smile and unforgettable laugh will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Our Lady of Loreto, 18000 E. Arapahoe Road, Foxfield, CO 80016.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Black Bear Golf Club, 11400 Canterberry Parkway, Parker, CO 80138.
