January 17th, 1941 - May 29th, 2025
William E. Bromley born January 17, 1941 to William and Marie Bromley. William graduated from the Ogdensburg Free Academy. He was an electrician with Local 363 for over 55yrs. He passed at home with his family at his side. He was a lifetime member of the Haverstraw Elks Lodge 877. He is predeceased by his mother and father, brother Arthur and son William W.
He leaves behind his wife of 62yrs Eleanor (Tiny) Bromley, son Steven and wife Susan and daughter in-law Christine. He is survived by his grandchildren William C and Husband Mason, Sara and husband Brian, Anthony and wife Harley, Daniel and wife Kimberly. Great grandchildren Parker, Peyton, Emma, Isabelle, Teddy and Riley. Also survived by special cousins Joanne McCabe and Joyce and Bob LaGrow. Bill enjoyed boating, fishing and swimming. Loved good times with his family and friends. He will surely be missed by all.
Visitation will be held June 4th from 4pm to 8pm at T.J. McGowan’s Funeral Home in Garnerville. Funeral will be June 5th at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Repose Cemetery Haverstraw, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the Thiells-Garnerville United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 4pm-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garnerville, NY. Services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Warren Brandt, followed by interment at Mt. Repose Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY.
