Sacramento, CA - It's with great sadness that we announce the loss of Craig Camden Lewis on May 8, 2025, from complications of a heart attack on April 23, 2025. Craig was born on November 18, 1967 in Oakland, CA to Ronald Lewis and Lynne Barkow Lewis. Craig grew up in San Leandro, CA and graduated from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo. Later, he moved to Roseville with his mother, Lynne. Craig was an associate at Walmart for the past 9 years. He also worked as a volunteer at Sutter Medical Center in Roseville.

Craig is survived by his partner of 15 years, Andrew Payton; parents Lynne Lewis Franta and Ronald Lewis; stepmother Adel Lewis; sister, Cynthia Tierney; niece and nephew, Liliana and Liam Tierney; aunt and uncle, Yolanda and Harold Lewis, Jr; cousins, Heather Lewis and her children Ethan and Antonio, Stephen Lewis and Frank Huff. Craig is also survived by Andrew’s large loving family, which includes his mother Andrea, sister Melissa and his Granny.

Craig was a very kind and caring person. He loved music (especially Prince and Michael Jackson) and art. Craig will be greatly missed by all who knew him, including his friends and coworkers. We will cherish the memories we have with him.
