Thomas Andrew Lintgen

Thomas Andrew Lintgen was born October 25, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was the second son of Charles L. Lintgen, Sr., and Mary “Martha” (nee Daley) Lintgen.
Tom graduated from Bettendorf, Iowa, High School in 1975 and received a full ride baseball scholarship to the University of Iowa. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in agronomy in 1987. He served as a superintendent at numerous courses over his 30-year career in golf.
In addition to baseball and golf, Tom enjoyed basketball, football, fishing, and hunting. His interests also included cooking and baking.
Survivors include his partner of 15 years, Barbara Lubach, his daughter Liz Thompson, his grandson Korbin Thompson, his brother Charles L. Lintgen, Jr. and his wife Susan, and his nephew Joseph Oslin.
Interment will be at All Faiths Cemeteries in Tucson, Arizona.
