Edith Ann Schrayer
March 19th, 1950 - May 24th, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Ann Schrayer on May 23,2025, at the age of 75. Edith was born on March 19, 1950, in Forsyth, Montana, to Charles and Emma Beidleman.
Edith grew up in the Harmony community southwest of Laramie, Wyoming, and graduatedfrom The University Prep High School. Following high school Edith met the love of her life, Bill Schrayer, and the two married in 1969. Together, they managed the Flying S Ranch inVirginia Dale, Colorado for the past 53 years. Edith loved working alongside Bill, handlingall the different types of animals, branding, haying, and hosting many barbeques andseveral ranch style weddings. She was an excellent seamstress and loved crafting andespecially loved her dogs and horses.
Edith was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Emma Beidleman.
Survivors include her husband Bill and her brothers Charles (Janine) and Lee (Linda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
There will be a memorial and celebration of Edith’s life at the Historic Stage House of the Flying S Ranch on June 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The address is 830 County RD 43F Virginia Dale, CO 80536.
