Darry Lamar Donald was born on July 13, 1965, in Cairo, Georgia, to the late Myra Jean Donald (Montgomery) and Billy James Donald. He was a truck driver by trade for over 30 years, a self-taught mechanic and handyman, and he was a great athlete during his younger years (track and basketball). He was a Baptist and sound in his faith in God. He was a selfless giver who was there when anyone needed him, and he was often the peacemaker for his family and friends. He was a jokester--his smile could light up a room-- and he loved his daughter with everything he had.
