Elaine Mitchell Malcolm

Elaine Mitchell Malcolm, 83, wife of the late James Malcolm, passed away on June 2, 2025 in Frankfort. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 15, 1941 to the late Roy and Margaret Mitchell. She was retired from Comp Care in Frankfort and a member of Farmdale Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Stevens, granddaughters, Ashlie Malcolm and Mackenzee Sawyer (Trevor Hollon) great grandchildren, Emmett Guffey and Rylee Hollon. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Russell and two brothers, Roger (Cynthia) Mitchell, and Mark (Tammie) Mitchell, along with several nieces and nephews.
To know her was to love her-her presence brought light into every room and comfort into every heart. She treasured every family gathering, creating memories that will be held close in the hearts of those she loved. Her kindness knew no bounds-she was always the first to offer a helping hand or a comforting word. She was deeply cherished by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday June 6, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Frankfort. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the funeral beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral. Rev Daryl Toney will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Trevor Hollon, Dean Webb, Matt Mitchell, Marc Goodrich, Channing Oliver, and Heather Gipson.
