Heather Lynn Humphrey
March 17th, 1962 - May 27th, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Lynn Humphrey, who left us on May 27, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on March 17, 1962, in The Dalles, Oregon, Heather spent her early years in the scenic landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Her younger years were spent in Sunnyside, and Lacey, Washington. She later built a home Rochester, Washington, where she resided for over 27 years.
Heather was a dedicated professional in her field, serving as a Phlebotomist and Lab Tech at PAC Lab for over 30 years. Her commitment to her career was evident, and she embraced retirement in early 2020, cherishing the memories and relationships she built during her tenure. She held an Associate's Degree from South Puget Sound Community College, which paved the way for her successful career.
Beyond her professional achievements, Heather was a loving wife to her husband, Jeffrey Humphrey Sr., and a devoted mother to her daughter, Brandy Denae Hibben. She was also a stepmother to her stepsons, Jeffrey Jr., Brad, Joel, and Bryon Humphrey. Heather’s has a her sister, Elizabeth "Cricket" Langworthy, and a stepmother, Ruth Glover. Though she faced the loss of her parents, Robert Eugene Glover and Jane Caroline Hayes, as well as her brother Willie Eugene Glover, Heather remained a pillar of strength for her family.
Heather’s warm and generous spirit extended beyond her immediate family. She found great joy in spoiling her beloved cats and relished moments spent with family and friends. Whether it was cooking delicious meals, engaging with reality television, or enjoying late-night comedy and music, her zest for life was contagious. Heather was also an aficionado of art and artisan crafts. A loyal Seahawks supporter, she embraced the excitement of the game with enthusiasm.
A celebration of Heather's life will be held on June 29, 2025, from noon to 2 p.m. at Dirty Dave's Pizza, located at 3939 Martin Way E, Olympia, Washington. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends and loved ones to express their condolences to the Kitty Clinic in Lacey, Washington, honoring Heather’s love for animals.
As we remember Heather, we cherish the indelible mark she made in our hearts and lives.
Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever be remembered and celebrated.
