Donald B. Stewart

Donald B. Stewart, affectionately known to all as Don, passed away at the age of 70, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love.

Don is survived by his devoted wife of 17 years, Pamela “Pam” Stewart. Before their marriage, Don and Pam shared a deep and enduring friendship that blossomed into a lifelong partnership. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, compassion, and mutual respect. Don also leaves behind his beloved canine companions—Buddy, Loki, and Lilli—who were never far from his side.

A man of many passions, Don found joy on the golf course, at the poker table, and especially in the kitchen, where he loved to cook and share meals with those he cared about. A loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan, Don’s Sundays were often filled with football, spirited commentary, and the occasional hopeful yell at the TV.

What truly set Don apart was his heart. He had an uncanny ability to brighten lives— even known to hold up traffic while donating to a worthy causes. He was the first to offer help, the last to leave when someone needed support, and a steadfast friend to many. His integrity and loyalty never wavered, but it was his sense of humor that defined him most. Even through a long and difficult illness, Don's quick wit and laughter remained ever-present, a guiding light to those around him.

Don Stewart made a difference—quietly, generously, and with deep humility. His life was a testament to love, resilience, and joy. He will be missed beyond measure by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Don’s memory to Hospice of the Valley or charity of your choice—just as he would have done.
