Charles W. Clark
June 2nd, 1947 - May 18th, 2025
Charles W. Clark, age 77 of Oracle, Arizona passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025 surrounded by his loving wife Michelle and his sons Brady and Garrett. Charlie was born in Tucson, Arizona on June 2, 1947 at Tucson Medical Center. Charlie graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1966. He was the school mascot, "Charlie Titan."
He continued his education at Northern Arizona University and graduated with a degree in Engineering.
Charlie was a wonderful out going man. He touched the heart of everyone who knew him. He completed 4 Ironmen Events in Kona, Hawaii. Charlie was the first insulin dependent diabetic in the Ironmen. He completed over 30 Marathons, 5 El Tour de Tucson rides, and numerous 10 K's. He was the Public Works Director at the City of Hermosa Beach, California for 12 years.
In 1984 he returned to Arizona and took over his family's business, Clark Trucking Company in Mammoth, Arizona. In 2004, our home on Orcas Island in Washington was completed and we started spending six months on the Orcas and six months in Oracle. We joined St. Francis Catholic Church and made many long lasting friends.
His services will be held at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Oracle, Arizona on Saturday June 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM. He will be buried at the Mammoth Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles F. Clark and Ana Fidelia Clark.
