Celestin Kalala Mpoyi, a visionary leader and devoted public servant, was born on April 15, 1948, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He entered eternal rest on May 27, 2025, at his residence in Aurora, Colorado. Celebrated for his unwavering dedication to the Ministry of Transport, where he served as Director, Celestin was a pivotal figure in shaping transportation policies that enhanced mobility and connected communities in his homeland. Celestin's academic journey was marked by his achievement of a Bachelor’s Degree, a testament to his commitment to education and lifelong learning.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Celestin was a remarkable individual who inspired those around him. His resilience and optimism encouraged friends, family, and colleagues to pursue their dreams relentlessly. He possessed a unique ability to uplift spirits and foster a sense of belonging wherever he went.

To honor Celestin's remarkable life, a Viewing and Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at Romero Funeral Home ~ Chapel of Repose, located at 15150 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO. At a later date, he will be repatriated to his beloved home country of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where he will receive final services and burial at Necropole De L'Eternite Nsele Bambou in Kinshasa.
