Donald "Don" K Faron
November 2nd, 1941 - May 21st, 2025
Donald K. Faron, a beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather and friend passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 83 in Sun City Center, Florida.
He was born on November 2, 1941 in Millbury, Massachusetts, he was an Army veteran and a graduate of University of Mass (School of Agriculture). He dedicated his career to public service through the Massachusetts Division of Parks and Recreation and retired as Chief of Recreation for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
In retirement Don embraced his passions fully – especially fishing, horse racing and playing golf with his wife Erma and his close friends at the Renaissance Golf Club in Sun City Center, Florida. His easygoing nature made him fun to be with and endeared him to everyone he met.
Don is survived by his wife, Erma (Bayle), stepdaughters Karol McIntosh, Debra Carroll, Christine Clifton, and stepsons Robert Mason and David Mason, as well as 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
