Carol Ray Trexler, 93, passed away on May 31, 2025, in Roseville, CA, Placer County.

Born on January 5, 1932, Carol dedicated many years of her life as an administrative assistant for the City of Roseville, a role that allowed her to connect deeply with her community.

Carol was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church in Roseville, where she engaged actively in church activities and formed lasting friendships.

Her personal interests were diverse and rich. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed reading, and was skilled at playing bridge.

Carol's love for travel took her across continents to Europe and Egypt and inspired numerous explorations of California's backroads and historical missions.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamella Ray Trexler; sons, Mark William Trexler and Gregg Alan Trexler; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Galen, Levi, and Flannery Trexler. Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Gene Trexler.

Carol was a proud daughter of Meridian, CA, the youngest of six children of Chester and Elenor Reische.

She spent much of her childhood on her grandfather's ranch on the Sacramento River. After graduating from Sutter High School Carol had her first job in Colusa, CA, for the John Deere dealership.

She met her husband, William, who ran Bill's Shell Service in Yuba City, CA. They were married in 1954, and spent many years in Yuba City raising their family.

After seven years in South Lake Tahoe they moved to Roseville, CA, where she would live the rest of her life.

Carol's life was marked by her kindness, dedication to her family and church, and her adventurous spirit.

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.
