She had a personal and close relationship with Jesus Christ and was a member of Lynn Garden Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willie H. Conerly; her cherished daughter, Peggy Jo Conerly Richard; and her dear mother, Myrtie Davis.

Mildred is survived by her loving son, David (Zenda) Conerly of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Kathi (Eddie) Graham, Karen (Corey) Sensabaugh, and Aliceson (Ken) Collins; eight great-grandchildren, Eric Graham, Heather (Allen) Woodfin, Taylor (Cory) Williams, Courtney (Chris) Jones, Kristen (Marcus) Mullenix, Cori (Seth) Morelock, Cody (Morgan) Collins, and Conner Collins; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren, Josh (Madisyn) Woodfin, Aaliyah (Josh) Graham, Drew (Lexi) Odham, Ashton Odham, Katie Woodfin, Kinslea Woodfin, Adalyn Woodfin, Stetson Williams, Kennedy Terry, Karaline Mullenix, Maddie Mullenix, Sophie Morelock, and Mason Morelock. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love. Mildred never met a stranger and fiercely loved her family. She never let anyone leave without saying, “Be sweet,” and reminding them that she loved them.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm Monday, June 9, 2025, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Kingsport, Tennessee. The service will be officiated by Pastor Rick Meade.
