March 28th, 1951 - June 3rd, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lorenzo A. Fernandez, Jr. our beloved father, who passed away peacefully on 6/3/2025 in Salinas, Ca. at the age of 74. Born in Blumentritt Manila, and grew up in Victoria Tarlac City, Philippines, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.Lorenzo was a man of strong work ethic, unwavering kindness, and a great sense of humor. He always put his family first and taught us the importance of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. He was a true role model, and we will forever cherish the memories of him.Lorenzo was predeceased by his father Lorenzo Fernandez Sr., mother Eladia Fernandez, and sister Corazon Osian. He is survived by his loving wife, Edna Fernandez, his children, Richard Fernandez and Lorna Fernandez, his grandchildren, Roberto (Betito) Rodriguez, and Noraleah Rodriguez and his siblings Jose Fernandez, Danny Fernandez, Ernesto Fernandez, Emerson Fernandez, Violet Fernandez, and Abraham Fernandez.A private memorial service will be held by family on Friday 6/27/25 at 1 p.m. Mass at 5 p.m. ending at 8 p.m. at Healey Mortuary 405 N Sanborn Rd, Salinas.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
