It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved, Carolyn M. (Nunes) Zobka, 78, on June 6, 2025, at her home in Belchertown, MA. Born on August 8, 1946, in Denver, Colorado, Carolyn spent her formative years in Fall River, MA, before moving to Belchertown in 1963, where she resided, surrounded by family and friends, for the remainder of her life. Carolyn was a dedicated professional, having retired after a 40-year career in the shipping and receiving department at F&D Tool in Three Rivers, MA.

Carolyn was loved by all for her sharp-witted humor and endearing laugh. She enjoyed various pleasures in life, including vacations to Hawaii and visits to the casinos in Las Vegas, as well as cherished moments spent with her family at gatherings and holiday celebrations.  Her adventurous spirit extended to moments with her sister and friends exploring a variety of culinary experiences.  Her polished appearance was a rewarding result of cherished time spent with her sister Linda, frequenting their favorite salons.  Her hobby collecting owls and Elvis Prestly memorabilia were admired by all who stopped by her home for a visit.  “Her passing leaves a heartache no one can heal: Her love left a memory no one can steal”

Carolyn is survived by, and deeply missed by, her sister, Linda Ugraz and her husband Ilhan; her nephew and godchild, Christopher Czupryna and his wife Christine; her great-nephew, Tyler Czupryna; her great-niece, Corrine Czupryna; and nephew in-law, Scott Ginter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene C. and Anita M. (Gignac) Nunes, and her nephew, Scott Czupryna.

A calling hour will be held on Tues, June 17th, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 10:00 AM at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Interment will take place at St. Anne's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude's Hospital.  For more information visit www.beersandstory.com
