Bring's Broadway Chapel
Thomas Martin Cadamagnani
August 19th, 1961 - May 15th, 2025
Tom was born in Lake Forest, IL on August 19, 1961 (the youngest of six children) to Helen and Emilio Cadamagnani. He died suddenly in Tucson, AZ on May 15, 2025 after suffering a medical event while cycling on the Tucson loop. We can take some comfort knowing that when he died, he was doing something he loved.
Tom grew up in Highwood, IL and attended St. James Elementary School and Highland Park High School. His passion back then was sports and he was a star player on his baseball and basketball teams. Tom was a big Chicago Cubs fan and adored No. 26, Billy Williams. In 1977, Tom moved with his parents and Nonna Pia to Tucson, AZ where he attended Sahuaro High School. After high school he joined the Marines and was stationed in Japan. Following several years of service in East Asia, Tom returned to Tucson where he held numerous jobs in the trades, including work with the stagehand union, car and home maintenance and landscaping.
Tom loved dogs and always had one or two or three furry friends in his care. He was fond of the motto, “God, please help me be the person my dogs think I am,” and tried to live his life accordingly. Over the last thirty-plus years, Tom lived in a tight-knit neighborhood in east Tucson where he made lifelong friends who appreciated him for his hard work improving the neighborhood and were grateful for his kind-hearted willingness to help without expecting anything in return.
Tom is survived and will be missed by his brothers Paul (Sue, and AJ), Fred (Pam, and Laura and Brian), and Mark (Carylinda, and Jimmie) and sisters Mary (Emily) and Cathy (Matt, Clara and Evan). He will also be missed by his companion Mayura and his pup Henry. Rest in peace, brother.
A memorial service is planned for November.
