It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Marie Guinard, who left us on the morning of May 24, 2025, at the age of eighty-five in Aurora, Colorado.

Anne was born on February 21st, 1940, to Bernhardt and Geneva Ewoldt in the sandhills of Nebraska. She was sister to Carol, Rose, Bernard, Merry, Margy, Alee, and Nan. Anne graduated from Thedford High School in Nebraska. After high school she attended and graduated from Beauticians School in Denver, Colorado where she met her husband David, they were married on May 2nd, 1964, and spent 47 years together raising their small family. She was a loving mother of two, a proud grandmother of five, and a devoted great grandmother of five who loved to spend her time watching the generations grow while knitting or crocheting special blankets and sweaters for her family and friends. One sweater she made for Dave was later passed down to her grandson Andrew and still receives compliments today. She was an avid reader, liked puzzles, word searches, and games on her tablet. After Dave’s passing in 2011 Anne moved to Aurora, Colorado to live with her daughter Pam, son-in-law Randy, and family where she spent the remainder of her life enjoying being surrounded by loved ones.

Anne is survived by her children - Greg Guinard, Pam Rogge, and son-in-law Randy Rogge. Her grandchildren Andrew Rogge, John Rogge, Brittany Haugen, great grandchildren Harrison Cowan, Xavier Cowan, Theodore Cowan, Raylan Satrom, Cambria Satrom, sisters Carol Dubs, Rose Condos, Merry Jones, Margy Daniels, Alee Tucker, brother and sister-in-law Bernard and Rita Ewoldt, and many nieces and nephews - all cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by two children - Glenn and Patricia, her parents Ben and Geneva, husband David, sister Nan, several nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, and her grandson Zachary.

A 20-minute committal service will be held on June 17, 2025, at 12:30pm, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area “A” (Enter on W. Kenyon Ave. the Kenyon Gate) where friends and family are invited to join us in honoring her and following with a lunch afterwards at the Sheridan Recreation Center - 3325 W. Oxford Ave. In loving memory of Anne M. Guinard, a woman dedicated to family, love, and generosity.
