October 22nd, 1976 - May 29th, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Stacey Renee Hantke Wheeler, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend. Stacey was vibrant, kind, fiercely loyal and full of life. Her humor, generosity, and strength carried her through life’s challenges and her unwavering love was a constant source of comfort and joy.
She leaves behind her wife Vena, parents Zig and Joan, brother Jamie and wife Bridget, niece Delanie and nephew Logan. Aunts, uncles and a many cousins. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
A Celebration of life will take place on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 5-8PM at the American Legion Post 1468, 110 Academy St., Syracuse, NY 13207.
