January 15th, 1991 - June 6th, 2025
James Eric Fraley, II age 34, of Ravenel, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2025. Born January 15 1991, in Charleston, James will forever be remembered as the life of every gathering and a generous spirit who never hesitated to help those in need.
James found great joy in nature, embracing every opportunity to cast a line or sit around a fire with his dog, Halo by his side. His warm personality and profound sense of humor created strong connections with both people and animals alike, reflecting the genuine compassion and affection he had for all living things.
James is survived by his beloved son, Tracen Fraley, his wife, Devonna Fraley, his parents, Kristal (Danny) Lambert Richardson & Eric (Jennifer) Fraley, his sister Jessica (Justin) Hunt, brother Dakota Fraley, grandparents, Allen & Shirley Lambert, Kenneth & Geraldine Carter, nieces Carolina & Maggie, and nephew Charles as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Honorable mentions to also include Bakara Sessions, Diamond Pinckney, Sean High and Jeremy King. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jim & Jane Fraley and Beverly Driggers.
A celebration of James’s life will be held on Saturday, June 21st from 1pm to 3pm at Simplicity, Ladson Chapel, 281 Treeland Drive. This is an informal, drop in style event.
