Nancy Davison of Dexter Oregon passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025 of natural causes at the age of 89. She was born in Northern California to Lowell and Nettie McDonald.

 

She married Jack in 1951 and spent the next 19 years traveling the states and having 7 daughters.

 

In Tucson she learned to play the guitar and write songs. Music ran deep in her family and was passed on to generations. Joining the Peace Corps at age 50 and returning to college received a Master’s in social work. Ending up in Oregon she continued being a spiritual teacher to many.

 

She is survived by her brother, Ernie McDonald of Portland, OR; daughters, Diane, Dona, Debbie, Denise, Dyna, Dolora and Jo. Known as Grandma Peach to 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

 

In lieu of flowers, her favorite charity is Doctors without Borders.
