Roger Edward Cotton

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Roger Edward Cotton (80) on June 9, 2025. Roger was born in Narberth, Pennsylvania, on August 5, 1944. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Diane Cotton, and his parents, Alex and Alice Cotton.
He was married to his best friend Diane, with whom he shared countless memories and adventures. He was a devoted father to his children: Candice Cotton, Donna Fuente (Eddy), George Cotton (Heather), Kelly Gonyea (Steve), and Kim Cresswell. He was also an adored grandfather (Rara) to Jessica Gonyea, Justin Gonyea, Ruby Cresswell, and Alik Cotton.
Roger spent a successful career working for NCR and TEC America before becoming the President of Supervision Control Systems. He later transitioned to a fulfilling career as a home builder, where he left his mark by creating beautiful homes for families, including his own, to enjoy.
He leaves behind a legacy of honor, compassion, and integrity, influencing countless lives with his willingness to offer sound advice, loving support, and a sense of humor. Roger’s impact extends beyond his immediate family and friends; he was a man who made everyone around him better.
We invite you to celebrate Roger’s life and share your stories of remembrance as he enters his next chapter in peace on June 29, 2025, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, Belleview, FL, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
