Nikki Ann Chaffin

Nikki Ann Chaffin, 62, of Colorado Springs passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at her home. She was born on March 18, 1963, to Howard and Joyce Chaffin. Nikki attended S. H. Wilson Center and graduated in 1984 with her sister Tonya.

Nikki was a joy to everyone who met her. Her cheerful, beautiful smile brought us great joy and will be missed. We considered her our “Forever Angel.”

She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Ann Chaffin, grandparents, Joseph A. Berls, Laura M. Berls, Oscar Howard Chaffin, Sr., Mildred Chaffin Goke.

Joyce’s request before she went to be with our Heavenly Father was that these words be part of Nikki’s obituary, “Mommy, Daddy, sister Tonya (Ralph), brothers Tony (Beckey), Scott, three nephews, Corey (Gerlyn), Chase, Chanse . We loved you so much and will miss you as you were our Sweetheart for all your years. You are now with Jesus in heaven. Knowing this helps us believe that you are happy and at peace forever!” Other family members to cherish Nikki’s love, smile, and memories are Gabriel and Alexzy Scanlon, Sherry Flores and many aunts, uncles and cousins..

The Chaffin family wishes to extend their gratitude for all the prayers for Nikki and her family during the last several years.

A Celebration of Life event will be held on July 19, 2025, in Colorado Springs. The service will be officiated by Kevin Clark. Location of the event will be announced at a future date. If you will notify us that you plan to attend, we will forward the information of time, place, and location as soon as available.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Goodwill in Nikki’s name.
