Miss Amy Maria Howland, 41, of Charlotte passed away on June 7, 2025 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham after post operative complications following open heart surgery. Born in El Salvador, she was the daughter of Jim and Ginger Howland.
Amy is survived by her mother, Ginger Howland; her siblings - Brittany King and husband, Thomas King; Eric Howland and wife, Rachel Howland; Jill Newell and husband, Zac Newell; as well as 9 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Howland.
The family will receive friends at Reynolda Church, 2200 Reynolds Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106 on Saturday June 14th, 2025 from 11:00-12:00pm. Funeral services will follow beginning at 12:00pm with Pastor Barrett Johnson officiating.
Children were Amy’s heart and true love on Earth. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Amy Howland Memorial Playground Fund to help build a playground for the children of the community at her home church campus, Reynolda Church in Kernersville, NC.
