William E. Pollack Jr.
April 19th, 1941 - June 9th, 2025
William Edward "Bill" Pollack Jr., of Townsend, WI, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on April 19, 1941, in Chicago, IL, Bill was the beloved son of William and Lillian Pollack. A proud veteran, he served in the United States Marine Corps and was a dedicated member of the American Legion Post 0044 in Wabeno, WI. Bill was a man of integrity, humor, and kindness—a natural storyteller, a problem solver (especially with duct tape), and a source of wisdom and encouragement. His infectious laughter and generous spirit will forever be remembered. Bill embraced life in the Northwoods, finding joy in hunting, fishing, and cheering for the Bears, even in the heart of Packers territory. Throughout his life, he pursued many passions—he owned a driving school, drove trucks for Anheuser-Busch, transported students for the Milwaukee School District as a bus driver, and dedicated his later years to craftsmanship as a cabinet maker. He is survived by his spouse, Sandra Pollack, children, Allison (Darrel) Mauzy, Rita Webster, William “Bill” (Claudia) Pollack III, John (Thuy-Linh) Pollack, Jill (Jesse) Sykora. Grandchildren, Valerie (Logan) Johnson, Michael (Danielle) McCann, Clint McGhee, Kacie Webster, Collete Webster, Ashly (Colin) Tuck, William Pollack IV, Samantha Pollack, Lucas Pollack, Sandra Pollack, Alexander Pollack, Nina (Ryan) Gibbs and Jesse “LJ” Rosario. Great Grandchildren, Logan Johnson II, Levi Johnson, Astrid Tuck, Edith Tuck, Oliver Webster, Talia McCann, Mercedes “Cece” Kramer, Kailey Juarez Rivera and Jaxson Gibbs. Nephew, Bill (Leslie) Leith and Niece, Polly (Jack) Powers. Great Nephew, Boston Powers and Great Niece Abbigail Powers. Special Granddog Bella “Bug Eye”. Bill is further survived by extended family and friends who will carry his memory forward with deep love. He was preceded in death by his father, former Illinois State Representative, William Edward Pollack, SR and his mother Lillian Pollack nee Raisanen, his sister Barbara Ullman, his brother John Pollack. Granddaughter Nia Rivera and Grandson Nathan Rivera.
Services to honor Bill’s life will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home (237 N Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188). A memorial will begin at 12:30 PM, followed by services that will be lead by Pastor Bo Baumeister at 1:00 PM. Following the service, a graveside ceremony with Military Honors will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery (605 S Prairie Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186). Memorials are appreciated to St. John Church - 17963 WI-32 Townsend Wi 54175. Bill’s life was one of love, laughter, and unwavering generosity. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
