With heavy hearts, we announce Celebration of Life services for Jeffery Scott Thornton (aka Jeff and Jeffie) on Friday, June 20, 2025, starting with a time of visitation at 5:00 PM, followed by the Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM at Romero Funeral Home, located at 15150 E Iliff, Aurora, Colorado. Born on April 25, 1971, Jeff lived a life that was witty and genuine. Jeff took everyone and everything in his life whole-heartedly. He embodied kindness, honesty, loyalty, and generosity—qualities that resonated deeply with everyone he met. To say he had a huge heart is an understatement. Jeff had several careers in his life, all of which were oriented to customer service. His commitment to his job and friendly demeanor made him a beloved fixture in the workplace.

He leaves behind his mother, Barbara Warnke, and a multitude of adoring friends.  Jeff was preceded in death by his spouse, Jose Alfredo Saucedo, whom he loved deeply. Although Jeff was an only child, he had many "adopted" sisters, brothers, mothers, and families. His quick wit, unique character, and loving nature will be cherished by all whose life he touched and will live on in all our hearts. Jeff made countless moments brighter for those around him. We love you Jeff and eagerly await joining and sharing in your next escapade. You will forever be in our hearts.
