Amy Winifred Head Paige, age 95, passed away peacefully on June 9 2025. She was born on May 13,1930 in Farmington, New Mexico to George and Amy Head. She was the oldest of 9 children. She wasmarried to Robert Edward Paige on December 17, 1948 in Alamosa, Colorado. She was a waitress at acafe that Bob frequented when he moved there to be the engineer and announcer for the local radiostation after WWII. Louise was born in 1950 in Alamosa. Eventually moving to the Denver area Robertwas born in 1958 and Laurie in 1961. She was a stay-at-home mom until everyone was in school andthen she began to work as a teacher’s aid at Western-Hill’s Elementary School. When Bobby left for hismission, she worked at Stapleton International Airport as a Security Guard, then decided to trysomething different and began doing data-entry for the State of Colorado until 1998. Her husband, Bobpassed away on August 18, 1987. After retiring she served as a proselyting missionary for The Church ofJesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the England-Bristol Mission from 1998-1999. She served a secondmission for the Church at the Family History Center in Salt Lake City from 2002-2003. In her later years,she served in the Denver, Colorado Temple as an ordinance worker for 8 more years and at the sametime working faithfully in the local family history center. She loved working in the garden, reading, andmaking her famous turtles at Christmas and most of all, she loved her family. She is survived by Louise(Gary) Murray, Robert (Rita) Paige, and Laurie (Ronald) Kearns. She had 14 grandchildren, and 14 greatgrandchildren.
