Mementos

Minoo Palmer was born in Tehran, Iran, to Hassan and Zahra Memaran on July 19, 1961. The youngest of three siblings, after completing secondary school, Minoo traveled overseas, earning college degrees from German and American universities. While studying German, Minoo met her husband of nearly 4 decades, Lawrence Palmer. They were married in Heidelberg, Germany, where Minoo’s two beloved children were born, Christopher and Anita Palmer. Minoo and her family also lived in Japan and Virginia, before moving to Edmonds, WA, in 2022. Minoo loved traveling the world, painting, eating Italian food, and taking care of her cat, Daisy. Above all, Minoo relished mothering her kiddos. Her favorite moments were with her family watching sunsets on the water.

A private celebration of Minoo’s life will be held in Edmonds, Washington.

If you would like to send flowers, please send flowers in bright, happy colors, to commemorate her spirit. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donations to UNICEF, a cause Minoo held dear.
