Fred Lloyd York
June 17th, 1930 - May 30th, 2025
Fred was born in Flint Michigan to John and Lottie York and was the oldest of three boys preceded in death by John (Caroline) and James. Fred is survived by his loving wife, June, his children, Don, Dan (Linda), Suzannne (Ross); grandchildren Nicole, Tyler (Amy), Zachary, Theresa (Mitch), Joseph (Bethany); great- grandchildren Tala, Colt, Charlie, James and Halle. June's daughters Melinda (John), Sharon (Jeff), Heather (Zach), 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He and his first wife Norma (deceased in 2006) moved to Eugene in 1955 and owned an insurance business before getting his real estate license and developing property around Eugene and Springfield. He loved the warm climate and spend years in Mexico and with June in Arizona. Fred was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and loved to take family and friends on countless adventures. He will be remembered most by his love of family, his love of the outdoors, his funny sayings, and that he never met a stranger. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 16 at 11:00 a.m., Musgrove Mortuary, 225 S Danebo Ave., Eugene, OR 97402.
