Amanda J Barton

Amanda J. Barton, 57, lovingly known as “Mandy”, of Moncks Corner, SC, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, after courageously battling cancer the last two years of her life. Born February 23, 1968, in Wallace, NC, Mandy was well respected in the trucking industry in both Wilmington and Charleston for over 30 years, rising to terminal operations manager in which she dedicated herself the last decade. However, her true calling and passion was being “Mom” to her three kids; they were her pride and joy along with the grandkids they blessed her with. Aside from her children, Mandy deeply loved her husband, Roger, whom she married in 2012. Roger truly brought her so much happiness and has been her true comfort these last few months as she fought her battle against cancer. 

Mandy loved her DIY crafts, decorating the home with her art for the season or holiday, and cooking and baking for her family. She loved the outdoors, specifically the waterparks and beaches where she enjoyed many hours with her family. The family intends on continuing the tradition of Myrtle Beach family vacations that Mandy started and treated them to so many times. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Barton; children Carlie Bolton (Jonathon), Bailey Barnhill (Micky), and Tripp Barnhill; grandchildren Ella Bolton, Novalee Blezin, Alexander Bolton, Kinsleigh Barton, Evelin Barton, and Aubrey Bolton; step-sons RJ Barton and Caleb Barton; mother Pansy B. Soles; and childhood best-friend Tammy Patram. 

While the family is heartbroken that they no longer have her with them on this earth, they find comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and look forward to being with her again one day. They imagine she was welcomed into heaven by her loving Grandma Gladys, whom she has missed dearly the last 30 years. Mandy’s wishes were to be cremated and for her closest family and friends to celebrate her with a small party where everyone is “happy”. Celebration of life details to follow.
