Stephanie Lynn James, 46, of Lexington passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025. Stephanie was born to Freddy L. James and the late Julia A. Facemire James on August 2, 1978 in Pikeville, Kentucky.
In addition to her father Freddy, Stephanie is survived by her brother William James; her nephew Will; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Stephanie was a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and pursued higher education. In her youth, she competed in Special Olympics.
Her hobbies included bowling, her love of dogs, and many other interests.
Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, June 20th at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing. The visitation will take place from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. The celebration of life service will begin at 1:00 pm. Her remains will be interred at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens following the service.
