Jean Daniel Azor
June 2nd, 1957 - June 3rd, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Daniel Azor, who fell asleep in death after a brief battle with an illness on June 3rd, 2025, at the age of 68. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Jean Daniel brought warmth, humor, and grace into every space he entered.
Jean Daniel was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nancy, and a proud, loving father to his three children: Stephanie, Jean Daniel Jr., and Rebecca. Jehovah and his family were his greatest joy.
Professionally, Jean Daniel built his life around helping others, dedicating many years to customer service. He had a rare gift for patience and connection, often going the extra mile to brighten someone’s day. Whether it was through a kind word, a helping hand, or simply his calm presence, he made people feel seen and valued.
Beyond work and family, Jean Daniel had a deep appreciation for spiritual things. He valued and cherished his relationship with Jehovah God. He lived by the words found in the Bible at Romans chapter 14 verse 8 that says, “ For if we live, we live to Jehovah, and if we die, we die to Jehovah. So both if we live and if we die, we belong to Jehovah.” He also had great faith in Jehovah God’s promises for the future found at Revelation 21 verses 3 through 5 that say, “…Look! The Tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said: ’Look! I am
making all things new.’ Also, he says: ‘Write, for these words are faithful and true.’ “ He knew that soon, the things causing us pain today would be a thing of the past.
His craftsmanship and time were both reflected in his cherished hobby as a watch collector. He found joy in the precision, beauty, and history behind every piece, and his collection served as a reflection of his thoughtful and meticulous spirit.
Though Jean Daniel’s passing leaves a profound void. We have faith in God’s word in Isaiah 26 verse 19 “ Your dead will live…Awake and shout joyfully, you residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, and the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.” We look forward to seeing him in perfect health. In the meantime, his memory remains a guiding presence in our lives — steady, timeless, and cherished, like the watches he so loved.
A memorial service will be held at the burial site at St. Paul’s Highview Cemetery on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
