Sandra D. Sanders, 84 of Sierra Vista, AZ a beloved wife to the late Robert W. Sanders, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend peacefully passed away on June 4, 2025, in Tucson, AZ. Up until the end Sandra maintained her appreciation of love of family and friends, and expressed gratitude for her long life, full of wonderful experiences and memories. Sandra had a special place in her heart for dogs.
While being a military spouse with her husband in the Army for 24 years stationed in many places, Sandra was always active in the military community. She served Soldiers and their families as an Army Civilian for over 25 years.
Sandra was an enthusiastic supporter of her children’s sports, spending time coaching and in bleacher seats on the sidelines. Her hobbies were bowling, cards, and board games.
Sandra is survived by her loving children, son Michael Sanders, daughter Nancy Olinger (Rob), daughter Judy Cooper (Frank), and son Robert Sanders (Sharon) grandchildren Christopher Toepfer, Cameron Toepfer, Connor Toepfer, Kaitlynn Cooper, Dylan Cooper, Sean Sanders, Kylee Sanders, Hayley Sanders, and Chloe Sanders and great grandchildren Adalyn Toepfer, Ryleigh Toepfer, and Kellin Toepfer.
Services have been arranged for June 24, 2025, at Desert Sun Funeral Home Chapel 3081 W Orange Grove Road, Tucson at 11 AM. A luncheon will take place after the memorial service and location will be announced at the service
