Sterling Wayne Devers
April 17th, 1953 - June 14th, 2025
Sterling Wayne Devers, 72, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Lexington. A native of Frankfort, he was born on April 17, 1953 to the late James and Allene Bowman Devers. He was a self-employed painter for 48 years and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Sterling loved refinishing furniture, watching basketball, and fishing.
He is survived by his two sons, Mathew Devers (Jennell), Richmond, and Josh Devers, Frankfort; his sisters, Alice Jones, and Charlene James; his brothers, William Devers, and Barry Devers; and his 4 grandchildren, Cody Devers, Max Devers, Genesis Devers, and McKaila Devers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Jones; and his brother, Steve Devers.
