Steven DeMar Merrill passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, in Pioneer, CA, at 58. He was born on July 16, 1966, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Royal and Kenda (Romrell) Merrill.
Steven is survived by his parents, Royal and Kenda Merrill of Pioneer, CA, wife, Lyndah Merrill of Pioneer, CA, brother, Joel Merrill of Elk Grove, CA, daughter Katie Merrin, son-in-law Matthew Merrin, and granddaughter Amelia Merrin of Fort Bragg, NC, stepson, Shawn McCormick of Pocatello, ID, stepdaughter Tiffany Steenburgh of Modesto, CA.
Steven loved flying radio-controlled aircraft. He built and flew many of his own designs. He enjoyed the outdoors: fishing, riding motorcycles, and quads. He loved working on cars from the time he was in high school. He worked in construction for many years and, most recently, as a tow truck driver.
A celebration of life will be held for his family and friends at a time to be determined.
