Patricia June Matthews (Shults) was born October 29th, 1952, to Ernest Mancel Shults (Father) and Anne Lee Strickland (Mother) in Massachusetts. She left her mortal frame Saturday, June 14th, 2025, in Gilbert Arizona.

Patti June Matthews was a woman who could tell a story. She had more story's than "carter has pills" as she would say. She grew up an AirForce "brat". Her Dad was stationed at Anderson Air Force Base on Guam. Her childhood memory's included learning to swim in the ocean, walking through the jungle on the way to school, and watching a Guamanian pearl diver named Taki kill a shark. Her experiences were many and everyone that knew her laughed with her, drank with her and loved her. God just got one feisty angel. God speed Patti June. You will always remain in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband James Matthews, her brother Jesse, sister Judy, two daughters, Jennifer and Katy and 3 grandchildren.

She is currently in the care of Falconer Funeral Home. No services have been scheduled at this time.
