Mementos

In loving memory of Jeffrey Russell Ruegsegger, who graced this world with his presence from November 11, 1951, until June 4, 2025. Born in the charming town of South Wayne, Wisconsin, Jeffrey embodied the essence of warmth and kindness, leaving a profound impact on all who crossed his path. Jeffrey's journey concluded in the sunny embrace of Kingman, Arizona, where he found peace. His dream was always to move west and ride his horses. He was able to do just that.

Jeffrey was a beacon of unwavering loyalty and generosity. His life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of honesty and ambition, each moment reflecting the deep-rooted values he held dear. His spirit resonated in the kindness he extended to others and the dedication he showed in both personal relationships and his pursuits.   Jeffrey is survived by his daughter, Jenifer (Nicholas) Gille. His step granddaughter,  Hailey Gille (Daniel). His beloved great granddaughters Ayla and Faelan Gille. His mother, Clara Ruegsegger, his brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his wife, Beverly (Hanson) Ruegsegger. His father, niece, nephew and aunts and uncles.

As we gather to honor his life, we invite friends and family to two celebrations of his legacy, each imbued with the same warmth that characterized his existence.

The first will be held on June 28, 2025, at the Pink Heifer Saloon in Monticello, Wisconsin, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The second will take place at his beloved home in Kingman, Arizona, on July 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM till 6:00 PM. Food will be shared at both gatherings, just as Jeffrey would have wanted—bringing everyone together in enjoyment and remembrance.

As we reflect on Jeffrey's life, we remember a man whose spirit touched our hearts, whose laughter brightened our days, and whose memory will forever dance in the light of our recollections. In the words of John Wayne, "Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway." May Jeffery's courage and strength to keep going, guide us all through this time.
