Forever in our hearts...

Douglas Wayne Studer, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on June 5th, 2025 at the age of 60. Doug was born on January 19th, 1965 in Jefferson City, Missouri, son of Mary Belle and Paul Studer.

Doug is survived by his wife Amy Studer, daughter Gabby Studer, father Paul Studer; Sisters, Robin Studer, Joy Rohde and Lisa Raymer; Sister-in-law, Pam Studer; Brother, Mike Studer; and Brother in Laws, Terry Raymer and Rich Rhode; His Nieces and Nephews, Jason, Chad, Kyle, Taylor and Ashley and their beloved children.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Belle Studer.

Doug lived for basketball in his early years, where he met many of his life-long friends. After playing all through high school, he followed that passion into college. He went on to play with the Australian League for several years after college. Doug had his beautiful daughter, Gabrielle Eva in 2005 whom he loved to brag about. Gabby has special memories spending her summer days last year boating with her dad as well as spending time at his "man cave" workshop. He loved to teach her life skills, such as learning how to change a tire and how to convert a sprinter van, another thing Doug was passionate about and loved to share with his daughter.

In 2018, he met his wife and soulmate Amy.  Doug loved to adventure with his wife, who he called "Peaches", and later named his boats after. As best friends, they spent all their time together adventuring...camping, biking, traveling, and anything on the water, where Doug loved to be. He loved to make her laugh and always looked for ways, in everything he did, to show her how much he loved and appreciated her.

In Doug's final months, he found solace in worshipping with his wife on Sundays.

Doug's charismatic personality will be missed so deeply by his family and friends, but all the beautiful memories of time spent together are forever ingrained in our hearts.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to LiFT Academy of Clearwater, FL, where Doug and Amy's journey began at the Gala where they met to sponsor this special organization.
