Lexington - John Paul Wood, 85, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away June 16, 2025. He was born on April 21, 1940 in Maryland, to the late Harland and Lucille Wood.
John graduated from Wofford College as a Pharmacist. He later worked as the Director of Narcotics for DEHEC. He was a member of Saxe Gatha Presbyterian Church, where he had taught Sunday School for 30 years.
John has now joined his wife, Nancy Lee Wood, who preceded him in death in 2024 in their heavenly home. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Wood and stepsons, David and Chip Cason.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday June 27, 2025 at Hephzibah Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Bishopville, South Carolina.
